At Accounting for Good CIC, everything we do is driven by a simple belief: financial confidence is the foundation of opportunity. Too many people and organisations are held back by financial barriers — from disabled people and those with long-term health conditions excluded from work, to social purpose organisations struggling to sustain their impact. We exist to change that.
Our Theory of Change shows how our work helps people, organisations and systems move from barriers to opportunity. We build confidence and skills, strengthen financial resilience, and influence the wider systems that shape access to work, enterprise and inclusion.
Through creative, inclusive activities we help people develop money skills, confidence and connection. We support charities, CICs and other social purpose organisations — from early ideas to maturity — to build strong financial systems and deliver lasting impact. And we collaborate with funders, networks and policymakers to embed lived experience, inclusion and financial wellbeing into how support is designed and delivered.
These interventions lead to measurable outcomes: stronger financial capacity and skills, new income-generating activity, more resilient organisations, greater visibility of lived experience, and reduced barriers to participation. Over time, they contribute to transformed communities, a stronger social purpose sector, and systems where equity and inclusion are the norm.
Our Theory of Change is more than a model — it’s a roadmap for how we create meaningful, lasting change. It connects the practical work we do every day with the bigger vision we’re working towards: a world where everyone has the financial confidence and opportunity to shape their own future.
